When not to do Kobido

Strong contraindications:

  • Fever or active infection

  • Cold sores (herpes)

  • Inflamed skin or open wounds

  • Rosacea

  • Cancer (unless 5+ years in remission & doctor approves)

  • Pregnancy — 1st trimester or high-risk

Wait after aesthetic:

  • Botox — 2–3 weeks

  • Fillers — 4–5 weeks

  • Chemical peel — wait 2 weeks

  • Microneedling / Dermapen — 2–3 weeks

  • Laser treatments (HIFU, RF) — 2–3 weeks

  • Permanent makeup — wait until fully healed (2–4 weeks)

Wait after medical procedures:

  • Surgery or nose correction — wait until full healing

  • Tooth extraction or major dental work — wait 2–3 weeks

  • Chemotherapy or radiotherapy — only with doctor’s approval

  • Threads — wait 6–12 months or avoid completely

Massage possible, but gentle:

  • High blood pressure

  • Thyroid issues

  • Orthodontic braces

  • Hair extensions

  • Active acne, eczema or strong allergic reactions

  • Very dry, irritated or peeling skin
